In the process of reading the biography of Garcia Marquez. Only 100 pages are covered but this material is crucial for understanding his works. Now Columbia seems for me as a country immersed in its dreamy state of mythology, far from realiness like a place where dreams and imaginary are combined with harsh reality, a place with vague frames of reality.
Garcia was lucky to be brought up by his grandparents in Aracataca. His grandmother influenced Marquez greatly, being a very superstitious she could see a bad sign everywhere. She had a passion for retelling her dreams, which was used by Marquez in ONe Hundred Years of Solitude. His grandfather was also an important figure in his childhood. He was the one who linked Marquez with reality. Someone who taught him about a civil war, a teller of hilarious days in his country.
These seven years were a source for his futher creations and helped him to establish himself as a writer.
Reading these data, i want to read his novels again. I still remember the feeling of pleasure and bewilderment from One hundred years of Solitude...

"Фадо" це мандри до Європи, яка збереглась розмитими контурами на старих картах. Віднайдення власної ідентичності через розмитий відлік часу. Поява нових соціологічних маркерів і затирання історичної памяті. Це спроба охопити уламки часу і поєднати із невиразністю сучасності. Європа і її карколомні контури ...
